Refund & Cancellation Policy
Clear terms for cancellations, refund eligibility, processing timelines, and support for bookings made with Wanderora journey.
Booking Cancellations
- Cancellations must be requested in writing by email from the registered email address or by contacting our support team with your booking details.
- Cancellation charges are calculated from the date and time Wanderora journey receives the request.
- For bookings involving hotels, transport, activities, flights, or third-party vendors, supplier cancellation terms may also apply.
- Any non-refundable component clearly marked at the time of booking will remain non-refundable.
Standard Cancellation Charges
- More than 30 days before departure: 10% of total booking value may be retained as administrative charges.
- 15 to 30 days before departure: up to 25% of total booking value may be retained.
- 7 to 14 days before departure: up to 50% of total booking value may be retained.
- Less than 7 days before departure: up to 100% of total booking value may be retained.
- No-show after confirmed departure date: no refund will generally be applicable.
Refund Eligibility
- Refunds are considered only for the refundable portion of the booking after deducting applicable cancellation charges, taxes, gateway charges, and supplier penalties.
- Refunds are usually processed when a booking is cancelled within the eligible period and all payment obligations are cleared.
- Partially used services, missed sightseeing, missed transfers, or voluntary early departures are generally non-refundable.
- Refunds for force majeure events, natural disruptions, government restrictions, or transport interruptions depend on recovery from the relevant supplier partners.
Non-Refundable Situations
- Last-minute cancellations close to departure.
- No-show cases or failure to present valid travel documents.
- Amounts paid for visa support, insurance, convenience fees, or other non-refundable add-ons unless stated otherwise.
- Special promotional, peak-season, or fixed-departure packages marked as non-refundable or partially refundable.
Refund Timelines
Once a cancellation is approved and the refundable amount is confirmed, refunds are generally initiated within 7 to 14 business days. In some cases, where supplier confirmation is pending, the timeline may extend up to 21 business days or longer depending on the payment method and third-party processing cycles.
Refunds are usually returned to the original mode of payment. If that is not possible, our team will coordinate an alternative method subject to verification.
Processing Notes
- Bank, card, UPI, wallet, or payment gateway processing times may vary after the refund is initiated.
- Wanderora journey is not responsible for delays caused by banks, payment gateways, airlines, hotels, or transport operators.
- Any amendment to travel dates, traveler names, or package inclusions may attract separate rescheduling or modification charges.
- For group tours or custom itineraries, cancellation and refund terms may differ and will be shared at the time of confirmation.
